4th of July Cocktail Recipes

WHISKEY

MONKEY JAM SOUR
1½ oz Monkey Shoulder Whiskey
½ oz Sugar syrup
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Soda Water
2 tsp Jam
Dash of Orange Bitters

Combine ingredients except the soda water in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a tall glass and top with soda water.

SWEET BERRY BOURBON
¼ oz. simple syrup
1½ oz VOGA Italia Dolce Rosso
1 oz bourbon
Fresh Berries

Mix equal parts water and sugar until sugar is dissolved to make simple syrup.  Muddle fresh blueberries and raspberries into a cocktail shaker.  Add ice, simple syrup, VOGA Dolce Rosso, bourbon. Shake well and strain into glass.  Add fresh berries and mint sprig for garnish.

Auchentoshan® Berry White
​1.5 parts Auchentoshan® American Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky
0.25 part fresh lemon juice
2.5 parts Shrub & Co. Strawberry w/ Meyer Lemon Shrub
​3.5 parts Belgian witbier (wheat beer)
4 dashes rhubarb bitters

Build drink in tall glass with ice. Fill remainder with Belgian wheat beer. Garnish with lemon peel.

FIRE IN THE SKY
1.5 oz Jack Daniel’s Fire
1 oz Apple Juice
Ginger Beer
Apple slices for garnish

Shake Jack Fire with apple juice and ice. Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. Top with a mild ginger beer. Garnish with apple slices and fun 4th of July decor.

RyeBall
1 part Alberta® Rye Dark Batch™ Whisky
4-5 parts hard cider
1 dash aromatic bitters

Build in collins glass over ice.

VODKA

The Saluki
6 parts Q Grapefruit
2 parts vodka
Salt, for rim of glass
1 lime wedge, for garnish

Rim a highball glass with salt and fill it with ice. Pour in the vodka, top with Q Grapefruit and garnish with a lime wedge.

Ketel One Fire Cracker
1.25 oz Ketel One Vodka
0.25 oz Campari
0.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
Top:Soda Water
Top: Hot Sauce
Garnish: Orange Slice

Shake.  Strain into a Collins glass over ice.  Top with soda water.  Top with hot sauce.

All Summer Long
1.5 oz Ketel One Oranje Flavored Vodka
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
Top: Lemonade
Garnish: Red Sugar Rim

Build all ingredients in a Collins glass over ice.

The Flag
1 oz Ketel One Citroen Flavored Vodka
0.5 oz Blue Curacao
0.5 oz Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
Garnish: Cherry

Bottom Blue Curacao in a “Nick & Nora” glass.  Dry shake egg white.  Add other ingredients.  Shake vigorously.   Strain over Curacao.  Garnish with a cherry.

RUM

Cruzan Caribbean Dream

Cruzan® Caribbean Dream
1 1/2 part Cruzan® Blueberry Lemonade Rum
1/2 part Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 part Cream
Cinnamon
Cherries

Combine all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and double strain into a shot glass. Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon and a speared cherry. 

CHERRY LIME MOJITO
4 oz  Cherry Limeade Sparkling ICE
1½ oz  White Rum
10 Mint leaves (plus a few more for garnish)
6 Cherries (stems and pits removed)
Lime slices for garnish

In a large, sturdy glass, muddle together the mint and cherries until lightly-smashed.  Stir in the rum and then top with Cherry Limeade Sparkling ICE over ice.  Stir gently to mix.  Garnish with fresh cherries, mint leaves, and lime slices.

BACKYARD LEMONADE
2 oz Sailor Jerry Rum
4 oz Fresh Lemonade
Lime wedge

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.

TEQUILA

INDEPENDENCE DAY
1 Liter Casamigos Blanco
17 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
17 Strawberries (not including strawberries for garnish)
17 Whole Blackberries (not including blackberries for garnish)
10 oz. Sugarcane Syrup (Simple Syrup)

Peel and slice kiwis into cubes, blend strawberries and kiwis until liquefied. Strain into punch bowl. Add other ingredients and stir in 3-4 medium scoops of block ice and cool. Garnish with blackberries and thin strawberry slices. Stir before each serving.

RED, WHITE, & BLUE BERRIES
1½ oz Herradura Silver Tequila
2½ oz coconut water
¼ oz agave nectar
½ oz lime juice

Place all ingredients in to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice. Shake hard and strain over crushed ice in to a tall glass.  Garnish with raspberries and blueberries.

1 part Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
1/2 part Pineapple Juice
1/2 part Cranberry Juice
Pineapple Slice
Strawberries

Pour Cruzan over ice in a rocks or tall drink glass. Fill with pineapple juice and cranberry juice. Garnish with a pineapple slice and strawberry.

Cruzan_Bay Breeze

TEBLUE LAGOON MARGARITA
1½ oz 1800 Tequila
¾ oz Blue Curacao
½ oz Pineapple Juice
Splash Lemon-Lime soda
Splash of Lime Juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks or margarita glass.

Berry Explosive

BERRY EXPLOSIVE
4 parts Milagro Silver
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
2 parts Agave Nectar
8 Raspberries per batch
12 Blueberries per batch
Garnish: Raspberries & blueberries

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Fill two glasses with crushed or shaved ice and pour over.
Top with raspberries and blueberries.

GIN

Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade
3 parts Hendrick’s Gin
2 parts fresh lemon juice
2 parts simple syrup
Sparkling Water

In a long glass combine ingredients. Add ice, top with sparkling water, give a gentle stir and garnish with a cucumber spears.

Ledger’s Lemonade
Q Tonic
2 parts premium gin
1 part fresh lemon juice
Dash simple syrup
Lemon wedge, for garnish

Add 2 parts premium gin, 1 part fresh lemon juice and a dash of simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Vigorously shaker and pour into a tall glass with ice. Top with Q Tonic as desired. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
